                        ATLANTIS PLASTICS
            INCREASES PRODUCTION THROUGH ACQUISITION

Atlanta, GA - (November 24, 1999) Atlantis Plastics, Inc. (ASE:AGH)  announced
today that it has acquired the assets and operations of Two Eagle Plastics, Inc.
Two Eagle, located in LaVergne, TN, is a plastics injection molder which will
become part of Atlantis' Molded Products Group. Atlantis also purchased two
additional 850 ton presses for the LaVergne, TN location.

The acquisition was prompted by increased injection molding sales in the
Tennessee area.  This new strategically located production site will enable
Atlantis to better serve its key customers in the region. John Geary, Vice
President & General Manager of Atlantis Plastics Molded Products Group
commented: "We are greatly encouraged by our newly acquired production
resources.  This new location allows us to enhance our strong relationship with
our strategic partners.  As a result of this acquisition, our sales are
projected to increase by more than $5 million during the next two years."
