      STOCK NOW TRADING ON NASDAQ OTC UNDER SYMBOL BISD

CLIFTON, NJ - (December 3, 1998) Biscayne Apparel, Inc. today
announced that its Common Stock is now trading under the symbol BISD
on the Nasdaq over the counter (OTC) bulletin board.

As previously announced, Biscayne Apparel, Inc. consented to the
removal of its Common Stock from the American Stock Exchange
(AMEX).  This action became necessary because the Company no longer
fully satisfied all the guidelines of the AMEX for continued listing.
