Jacor: Acquires Two Stations in Chillicothe

COVINGTON, KY., February, 2, 1998:  Jacor Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:  JCOR)
today expanded its regional cluster presence in the State of Ohio.  Jacor
signed a definitive agreement with Pearl Broadcasting, Inc. to acquire WKKJ-FM
and WBEX-AM in Chillicothe, Ohio for $6.0 million.  The addition of the
heritage Chillicothe signals brings Jacor's Ohio presence to 54 
stations representing the largest regional cluster of radio stations in the
country.

Jacor CEO Randy Michaels said, "Jacor's strategy continues to focus on using
the strength of regional clustering to improve the quality of radio in smaller
markets.  We're excited to add the Chillicothe stations to our Ohio cluster." 
Pearl Broadcasting Treasurer, Randy Kendrick added, "Jacor is on the cutting
edge of the evolution of radio.  Chillicothe listeners and advertisers will 
benefit from Jacor's regional position."

Jorgensen Broadcast Brokerage assisted in the transaction which is subject to
regulatory review.

Jacor is the nation's second largest radio company measured by total stations.

represents 189 radio stations in 49 broadcast areas and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati. 
Additionally, Jacor's wholly owned subsidiary Premiere Radio Networks is the
country's third largest provider of syndicated radio programming including the
nation's top three radio talk shows:  The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Dr. Laura
Schlessinger Show and Dr. Dean Edell.  Premiere recently acquired the rights to
highly popular overnight talk show host Art Bell.  Jacor also owns a satellite
distribution service, NSN, which provides bi-directional communications among
multiple networks.  Jacor plans to pursue growth through continued acquisitions
of complementary radio stations in existing broadcast locations, and radio
groups or individual stations with significant presence in other
