JACOR'S ROMANO MOVES TO ATLANTA

SAYS, "OWENS MAKES ME WEAR A TIE AND CALL HIM SIR."

COVINGTON, KY April 13, 1998 - Gene Romano, Director of National Programming for Jacor Communications (Nasdaq: JCOR) is packing up his CDs and heading south. Romano will continue in his role as Director of Programming from Jacor's 96 Rock WKLS-FM o ffices in Atlanta. The move comes less than a year after Jacor brought Romano into the firm's corporate offices in Covington, Kentucky as part of the Programming "Dream Team." Says Romano, "Randy Michaels and Bobby Lawrence walked by my office at Corporat e and asked, 'Who the hell are you and what are you doing here?'"

Tom Owens, Jacor's Senior Vice President of Programming and Captain of the "Dream Team" noted, "Putting Gene back in a radio station makes sense. He can be even more effective closer to the product. All of our other Dream Team members are out in the fi eld - including Jaye Albright (country) in Las Vegas, BJ Harris (CHR) in Tampa, Marc Chase (East) in Cincinnati, Jack Evans (West) in San Diego and Vance Dillard (Soft AC) in Atlanta. Besides, I needed Gene's office to put in the new hot tub."
