(Nasdaq: JCOR) agreed to purchase KDIF-AM in Riverside, California from Hispanic Radio Broadcasters for $2.65 million. Jacor entered into a Local Marketing Agreement for the station effective May 1, 1998. Jorgensen Broadcast Brokerage assisted in the transaction. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory review. Jacor is the nation's second largest radio company measured by total stations. Including announced pending acquisitions, Jacor now owns, operates or represents 200 radio stations in 55 broadcast areas and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati. Additionally, Jacor's wholly owned subsidiary Premiere Radio Networks is the country's third largest provider of syndicated radio programming including the nation's top rated radio talk shows: The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Dr. Laura Schlessinger Show, Dr. Dean Edell and Art Bell.
