(Nasdaq: JCOR) agreed to purchase KRWQ-FM, KMED-AM, KZZE-FM, and KKJJ-FM from Hill Radio, Inc., Crater Broadcasting Company, Pro Promotions, Inc. and Ashland Broadcasting LLC, respectively. All four stations are licensed to Medford, Oregon where Jacor recently announced the pending acquisition of KOPE-FM. Total purchase price for the four stations was $12.5 million. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory review. Jacor is the nation's second largest radio company measured by total stations. Including announced pending acquisitions, Jacor now owns, operates or represents 205 radio stations in 56 broadcast areas and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati. Additionally, Jacor's wholly owned subsidiary Premiere Radio Networks is the country's third largest provider of syndicated radio programming including the nation's top rated radio talk shows: The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Dr. Laura Schlessinger Show, Dr. Dean Edell and Art Bell.
