(Nasdaq: JCOR) and Capstar Broadcasting Corporation (NYSE: CRB) have signed a letter of intent to swap radio stations in a tax free like kind exchange. In the swap, Jacor will receive Capstar's WTAE-AM in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in exchange for its Cleveland, Ohio station WKNR-AM. The swap moves Jacor closer to finalizing its pending acquisition of Nationwide Communications, Inc. The station exchange is subject to regulatory review. Jacor is the nation's second largest radio company measured by total stations. Including announced pending acquisitions, Jacor now owns, operates or represents 204 radio stations in 56 broadcast areas and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati.
