                        JACOR TO ACQUIRE KZSF-FM
                            IN ALAMEDA, CA

COVINGTON, KY  August 18, 1998:  Jacor Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: JCOR)
today signed an agreement to acquire KZSF-FM of Alameda, CA for $16.5 million
from Z-Spanish Radio Network, Inc.  KZSF-FM will complete Jacor's 92-Rock
Network in the San Francisco Bay area.  92-Rock is anchored in the South Bay
region with KSJO-FM (92.3) in San Jose and to the north by KZWC-FM (92.1)
Walnut Creek.  KZSF-FM (92.7) will cover the heart of San Francisco.  Media
Venture Partners, acted as a broker in the transaction.

The cash transaction is subject to customary regulatory review.

Jacor is the nation's third largest radio company measured by total stations. 
Including announced pending acquisitions, Jacor now owns, operates or
represents 205 radio stations in 56 broadcast areas and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati.

combine to form the third largest provider of syndicated radio programming in
the country, syndicating the nation's leading radio talk shows which include
The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Dr. Laura Schlessinger Show, Dr. Dean Edell and Art

NSN Network Services, a satellite systems integration company that provides
design, communications technology and support to establish and maintain global
satellite connectivity to companies worldwide.  Jacor plans to pursue growth
through continued acquisitions of complementary radio stations in existing
broadcast locations, and radio groups or individual stations with significant
presence in other attractive domestic and international locations. 
Additionally, Jacor plans to grow in other broadcast related products and
businesses.
