                JACOR TO ENTER BISMARCK, NORTH DAKOTA
                      WITH KFYR-AM and KYYY-FM

COVINGTON, KY September 14, 1998:  Jacor Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: JCOR)
signed a definitive agreement to purchase KFYR-AM and KYYY-FM in Bismarck,
North Dakota from Meyer Broadcasting Company of Bismarck.  The $4.8 million
cash transaction marks Jacor's initial entry into North Dakota.  Media Venture
Partners brokered the deal.

Judith Ekberg Johnson, President and CEO of Meyer Broadcasting, commented,

The transaction is subject to regulatory review.
